Ljunghusens handbollsklubb was one of 34 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmöspelen 2017. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 06 and Flickor 07 respectively. The team in Flickor 07 made it to the the Final in B-slutspel, but lost it against IFK Malmö Handboll 1 by 12-14.
In addition to this, Ljunghusens handbollsklubb have participated in Malmöspelen before. During Malmöspelen 2016, Ljunghusens had two teams playing in Flickor 06. The team in Flickor 06 made it to the the Final in B-slutspeland won it over Trelleborg HBK 2 by 12-7. Ljunghusens comes from Höllviken which lies approximately 22 km from Malmö, where Malmöspelen takes place. The area around Höllviken does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Malmöspelen 2017 (Among others: Skurups Handboll, IFK Klagshamn, H43 Lund, HK Malmö, Trelleborg HBK, HK Ankaret, IFK-Malmö, Stapelbäddsskolan, Svedala HK and LHK). 23 games playedGoals |
