HK Malmö was one of 30 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmöspelen 2015. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 03, Pojkar 04, Pojkar 05, Pojkar 06 and Flickor 03 respectively. The team in Pojkar 05 made it to the the Final in A-slutspel, but lost it against OV Helsingborg 1 by 17-21.
In addition to this, HK Malmö have participated in Malmöspelen before. During Malmöspelen 2014, Malmö had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 03, Pojkar 04 and Flickor 03 respectively. The team in Pojkar 04 made it to the the Final in A-slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund 3 by 16-18. Malmö originates from Malmö, which is the same city as where Malmöspelen takes place.
