Veberöds HK was one of 24 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmöspelen 2014. They participated with three teams in Flickor 00, Flickor 02 and Flickor 04 respectively. Three teams played until 1/4 Final in B-slutspel; Flickor 00 lost against GW Landskrona 1 by 2-13, Flickor 02 lost against OV Helsingborg 3 by 5-15 and Flickor 04 lost against Staffanstorps HK 2 by 7-15.
In addition to this, Veberöds HK have participated in Malmöspelen before. During Malmöspelen 2013, Veberöds had three teams playing in Pojkar 01, Flickor 02 and Flickor 04 respectively. The team in Flickor 04 made it to the the in Gruppspeland won it over Jersie HK 2 by 16-6. Veberöds comes from Veberöd which lies approximately 31 km from Malmö, where Malmöspelen takes place. The area around Veberöd does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Malmöspelen 2014 (Among others: Trelleborg HBK, HK Ankaret, Eslövs HF, H43 Lund, Svedala HK, Lundagård, H43, Dalhems IF, HK Malmö and LUGI). 14 games playedGoals |
