Ljunghusens HK was one of 24 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmöspelen 2014. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 02, Pojkar 04, Pojkar 99 and Flickor 04 respectively. The team in Pojkar 99 made it to the the Final in B-slutspel, but lost it against LUGI 2 by 8-13.
In addition to this, Ljunghusens HK have participated in Malmöspelen before. During Malmöspelen 2013, Ljunghusens had 7 teams playing in Pojkar 00, Pojkar 01, Pojkar 02, Pojkar 04, Pojkar 99, Flickor 00 and Flickor 04 respectively. The team in Flickor 04 made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Dalhems IF 2 by 9-14. Ljunghusens comes from Höllviken which lies approximately 21 km from Malmö, where Malmöspelen takes place.
