In addition to Ov Helsingborg, 7 other teams played in Flickor 05. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Ov Helsingborg could be found in Group A together with Lugi HF 1, Dalhems IF and HK Ankaret Pest.
Ov Helsingborg made it to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group A. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against HK Ankaret Pest, which they won with 5-4. Thereby Ov Helsingborg won the entire A-slutspel in Flickor 05 during Malmöspelen 2017. OV Helsingborg also participated in Flickor 04 during Malmöspelen 2016.
