Skurups Handboll was one of 34 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmöspelen 2017. They participated with one team in Flickor 04.

In addition to Skurups Handboll, 8 other teams played in Flickor 04. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Skurups Handboll could be found in Group B together with H43 Lund 2, Veberöds HK, Dalhems IF 1 and H65 Höör 1.

Skurups Handboll continued to B-slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against H65 Höör 1 with 2-17. In the Final, H65 Höör 1 won over Veberöds HK and became the winner of B-slutspel in Flickor 04.

Skurups comes from Skurup which lies approximately 35 km from Malmö, where Malmöspelen takes place. The area around Skurup does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Malmöspelen 2017 (Among others: IFK Klagshamn, H43 Lund, HK Malmö, Trelleborg HBK, IFK-Malmö, Stapelbäddsskolan, Svedala HK, LHK, IFK Malmö Handboll and Västra Hamnens skola).
