In addition to Malmö International School, 13 other teams played in Årskurs 5. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Malmö International School could be found in Group D together with Videdalskolan åk 5 1, Pilbäckskolan 1 and Pilbäckskolan 2.

Malmö International School continued to A-slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Augustenborgskolan klass 5B with 7-12. In the Final, Västra Skolan won over Augustenborgskolan klass 5B and became the winner of A-slutspel in Årskurs 5.
