Kävlinge HK was one of 51 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmöspelen 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 04.
In addition to Kävlinge HK, 11 other teams played in Pojkar 04. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK could be found in Group A together with HK Ankaret 2, H43 Lund 2 and LUGI HF 2. Kävlinge HK continued to B-slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against H43 Lund 3 with 6-7. In the Final, H43 Lund 3 won over LUGI HF 1 and became the winner of B-slutspel in Pojkar 04. Kävlinge comes from Kävlinge which lies approximately 22 km from Malmö, where Malmöspelen takes place.
